Hi guys

Sorry again for neglecting this site. I've just had a busy few weeks, I don't even have enough time to sleep sometimes or even if I do sleep I dream about work and when I wake up I'm all stressed out because I'm thinking what haven't I done or is it right.

Tomorrow is my last day at WSP GREEN by Design it's sad in a way because I have enjoyed my time here I know it's been stressful but ye it's graphics, graphic design can be stressful at times with deadlines and all. I finally finished the booklet on Thursday and just got a sample yesterday with a few corrections, now it's been printed in batches. When WSP get it I'm going to ask my Dad to save me one so I can take a picture of it and show you guys and it will be a great example of the stuff I do for my CV and portfolio.

I'm going to redo my portfolio, make it more professional and then send it off with my CV to other company's. Yes I'm back to the drawing board with regards to finding a job. I do freelancing at home as well but I can't live on that salary at the moment and I don't get that many jobs, I have one now to do for a client. Have to do her whole CI (Corporate Identity) and also her website. I have decided to make my own website for my little business I run at home then I can put my website on my clients websites and when their clients look on theirs I'll hopefully get more clients.

Hold thumbs for me.

FYI (For Your Information) if you want great deals on premade websites please head over to my friends site http://www.crazycordy.net/designs/

Apartheid Museum

Today was a public holiday for us, it was Workers Day. My parents and I decided to go to The Apartheid Museum for the afternoon because it takes about on average 2.5 hours to see the whole museum.

It is a groundbreaking exhibition celebrating the life and times of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela. The marvellous thing about the exhibition is the way it attempts to provide a layered glimpse of Mandela in all his various guises and reincarnations. It examines his undoubted strengths and greatness, but does not shy away from his weaknesses too.

The museum is separated into the seven themes of Nelson Mandela's extraordinary life - character, comrade, leader, prisoner, negotiator and statesman.

In each theme the museum is presented through dramatically visual wall displays, supported by films mostly, hundreds of photographs and displays of original artefacts.

The entrance was so brillantly designed. When you buy your ticket it has randomly put you as a non white or a white then you have to go through the correct gate.

In this photo it explains the journey that migrants took to come to Johannesburg when the discovery was made of gold during 1886.

In this photo it showed the nooses that people sadly chose to commit suicide with when they were in prisons or they were sentenced to death. Beyond that door in front of you you could see what the prison cells were exactly like. It was a cement block i could just fit with my wheelchair (that's sad) and we were told that all they got was a bucket for the bathroom and they didn't get to shower for weeks on end I think.

It was a very good afternoon. For me it was a big eye opener on what apartheid really was like in those days, it makes me thankful that I wasn't born in it because I couldn't imagine living in it.

From tomorrow I have three days to my deadline of my booklet. Wish me luck lol

Hi guys and gals

Sorry for the long leave of absence. I've been so overwhelmed with work that I have no idea where to start first. I have finally finished another clients website. This website got my thinking cap working over time lol. Thank you to Eric who helped me with the flash and the newsletter form.

Today my dog of 15 years has been dead for a year. I miss her so much but I do believe she is having fun up in heaven with our big dog. I think about her everyday especially when I'm playing with Coco.

RIP Tess. Mommy loves you and will never forget you
